United Virtualities Turns YouTube On

We know the common sense adage that a website is a window to your brand; that it’s where shoppers navigate eMain Street via a browser and click and peek through the window to your store to see what is on offer.

 United Virtualities Turns YouTube OnWhile validating this interpretation, how should we conceptualize social media’s positioning? Perhaps we can imagine them like outreach programs, extending a brand’s reach to people who otherwise would be left out the loop.

YouTube, in particular, injects extra life into your company and can add depth and legitimacy to your business — inside peaks at the frontlines of the office, personal profiles and public statements.

When it comes to our own industry, there are not many companies that are utilizing YouTube, and when they do they keep it standard: press releases, office profiles etc. Well, United Virtualities wanted to turn YouTube on and do something a bit different.

Birth of the UV YouTube channel

Since the inception of our highly skilled and specified team, dedicated to building Google Chrome extensions from the ground up, dubbed the BTWi Group, we realized that the importance of music while working ought to be saved and stored. So we created the United Virtualities YouTube channel to store and share music playlists that each member listened to for inspiration while working on each extension.

United Virtualities Turns YouTube OnSounds of pop, rock, jazz, folk and reggae mix between the cross-continental team. So while United Virtualities builds incredible software — with a particular specialization in Salesforce Commerce Cloud — the channel is mainly used to share playlists that we listen to while we build.

Although it’s not the only thing that we share via our YouTube channel. For the more seriously-minded of you we also share webinars, such as our latest one with UV’s VP Gavin, who co-hosted an integration of commerce and marketing webinar along with Jellyfish.
