Key ecommerce data
98% of manufacturers
either have an ecommerce site or have plans to have one, with 45% of them wanting to increase sales, 42% wanting to increase customer relationships, and 38% wanting to improve brand awareness.
80% of total sales
come from outside of the shopping mall for GAP, as its ecommerce sales grew 82% from 2 years ago, which now accounts for 40% of total revenue.
30% increase
in first quarter sales of Kohl’s helped by ecommerce, which increased 14% year on year.
34% boost
to Macy’s online sales in the first quarter, helped by the boost in customers and stimulus checks.
36% jump
in overall Best Buy sales as people begin to buy electronics again, beating analysts’ expectations of 22% growth.
$92.7 million
the value of e.l.f. Beauty net sales, which increased by 24% in the first quarter, were boosted mostly by ecommerce.
