in ecommerce in the US during the first quarter of 2021, with nearly $1 in $5 of retail purchases coming from ecommerce.

54 countries

This week Shein overtook Amazon to become the most installed shopping app across more than 50 countries, including the US, and has a valuation of $15 billion.

$1.7 billion

the value of sales coming from online for Macy’s, representing 37% of total sales, up from 24% in 2020.

Today Facebook debuts its Live Shopping Fridays, a streamlined shopping event that features brands in beauty, fashion, and skincare.

the expected value of livestream ecommerce in the US by 2023, as big retailers keep the camera rolling for livestream sales events.

the expected valuation of ecommerce in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), with Egypt being one of the most active in the region, which is expected to grow at an annual rate of 33%.

in ecommerce for Walmart’s global sales during its first quarter, compared to the same time last year, with US online sales reaching 37% growth.

55% of orders

that were made online were fulfilled at the store of The Home Depot, as it reports new sales of $37.5 billion, up 32.7%.
