Unleashing ArganoUV’s latest Chrome plugin: RASTA

We love taking those common, everyday annoyances and eliminating them by building the right extensions to make the day run 5-10% smoother. Call them life hacks if you like, or simply work tools to put in your daily toolbox that you bring to the office.

One such annoyance when emailing is that dreadful moment when you accidentally hit “reply all” rather than “reply” — and then you realise and either put your head in your hands and wonder internally “Why the hell did I do that?” or let out a resigned sigh of disbelief. (We know because we’ve been there and done that — doh!)

That’s why we brought RASTA (the reply-all stop alert) to life and are unleashing her today to guard your emails and prevent possible communication calamities.

So how exactly does it work?  If you do click “Reply all” and begin to write an email response, RASTA will remind you with a clear red banner that you have in fact clicked on “Reply all”. Because like all good communication, clarity can save you a lot of time, and potentially a lot of embarrassment.

We’ve already been using it internally, and love how it functions.

Beyond eliminating disastrous emails, we’re proud to state that RASTA was developed by a young developer on our team, Alexia Abrego, as part of her training and education. Congratulations, firstly, to you, Alexia.

Secondly, congrats to Agustina Alvarez (lead designer), JJ and Morgan (who tirelessly attempted to break RASTA during bug-finding expeditions).
