Oracle Named a Gartner Leader Three Years in a Row for Cloud ERP

Oracle has been named as a leader for the third year in a row in the 2021 Gartner Quadrant for Cloud ERP for Product-Centric Enterprises with its product Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (i.e., Oracle Cloud ERP). 

Oracle Cloud ERP can deliver on a core of apps and is highly configurable and flexible in order to adapt to modern technology. 

ERP solutions are nothing to be scoffed at; by 2023, companies that have renovated their ERP platform are set to improve their IT agility and business outcomes by 40%. 

 This Magic Quadrant category evaluated 10 providers: Oracle ERP Cloud ERP, Microsoft, Infor, Epicor, Acumatica, Oracle NetSuite, Plex, Priority Software, SAP, and QAD. Oracle Named a Gartner Leader Three Years in a Row for Cloud ERP

In terms of Oracle Cloud ERP, it was positioned highest when it came to the ability to execute as well as the “completeness of vision.” 

The Gartner report lays out how they choose the leaders: “Leaders demonstrate a market-defining vision of how ERP product-centric systems and processes can be supported and improved by moving them to the cloud. They couple this with a clear ability to execute their vision through products, services and go-to-market strategies.” 

In addition to this: “They have a strong presence in the market, and are growing their revenue and market shares. In the cloud ERP suite market, Leaders show a consistent ability to win deals with organizations of different sizes. They have a good depth of functionality across all areas of operational and administrative ERP. 

“They have proof of multiple, successful deployments by customers. Their system integrator partners frequently use their offerings to support business transformation initiatives.” 

So what did Oracle have to say about their quadrant-leading form? “We continue to see Oracle Cloud ERP set the standard and be both the driver and defining factor in our customer’s success in adapting to a dynamic business environment,” said Rondy Ng, senior VP of applications development at Oracle. 

“Through it all, Oracle has remained laser focused on our customer-centric mission and continued to deliver the quarterly innovations our customers have come to expect. Gartner’s Leader positioning for Oracle Cloud ERP is an honor we share with our customers.” 

Within Oracle there is a vision to build more and more touchless operations, better conversational experience, and continual forecasting. 

It has invested heavily in artificial intelligence as well as machine learning to enable CFOs and finance teams to increasingly move towards a strategy of elevating the user experience and facilitating efficiency to be able to move with agility in shifting marketing conditions. Oracle Cloud ERP counts more than 8,000 organizations that rely on its ERP solution, and cuts across all locations as well as industries. 

Its recognition as a leader is not limited to Gartner’s Quadrant for Cloud ERP for Product-Centric Enterprises.  

It has collected accolades from other categories. 

Gartner named Oracle a leader in its 2021 Magic Quadrant for Cloud Core Financial Management Suites for Midsize, Large, and Global Enterprises for five consecutive years. It was also named a customers’ choice for “Voice of the Customer: Cloud Financial Planning and Analysis Solutions” plus has been named as a leader in its Quadrant for Cloud Financial Planning and Analysis Solutions for four consecutive years.
